Transit of Venus, June 5, 2012

Update: In case you missed it, or found it hard to watch, or it was cloudy, here's a NASA ultra high-def video of the 2012 Transit of Venus:



Today's Transit of Venus - the passage of Venus between the Earth and the Sun - is a rare event. The last transit, in 2004, was not easily viewed in the Eastern US. The next won't happen until 2117.
